Overview
Over the past 3 years, I've run 'Designing with AI' workshops for companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500s. These materials include everything you need to run your own workshop: slide decks, hands-on exercises, facilitator guides, and participant handouts. The workshop is designed for 3-4 hours and works for groups of 8-30 people.
Workshop Structure
The workshop is divided into modules: Introduction to AI/ML basics (30 min), Understanding user needs for AI (45 min), Designing for trust and transparency (45 min), Hands-on design exercise (60 min), and Critique and discussion (30 min). Each module includes facilitator notes, timing guides, and backup activities for different group sizes.
Exercises & Activities
The materials include several hands-on exercises: AI mental models mapping, trust indicator brainstorming, conversational flow design, error state creation, and confidence indicator sketching. Each exercise includes clear instructions, example outputs, and facilitation tips. All materials are fully customizable to your team's needs.
